§ Create Blank Tournament
Blank bracket workflow: Creates placeholder teams (Team 1 → Team N). Go to the Captains tab to approve applications — each approved captain fills the next open slot automatically. When all slots are filled (or you're ready), hit "Start Tournament" to move into match play.
How to fill slots: Go to the Captains tab and click "Approve" on any pending application. The captain's team will be auto-placed into the next open slot, and their team name appears directly in the public bracket. Or edit a team directly in the "Edit Teams" card below.
🎲 Shuffle Team Order: Randomizes the matchups in the bracket. Same teams, totally different round 1 pairings. Click as many times as you want until you like the matchups. Only works during setup phase.
↕ Reorder Manually: Pick this when you want to fix one or two specific positions instead of full random. Click Reorder Manually to enter reorder mode — each slot card gets ↑/↓ arrows you can use to move teams up or down. On desktop you can also drag a card to a new position. Click Save New Order to commit, or Cancel to revert. Only works during setup phase.
§ Resize Bracket
Sizing rules: You can shrink the bracket only if there's room — the new size must be at least 0 (number of approved teams). Sizing up always works and pads with empty slots. Resizing rebuilds the bracket structure but keeps every team and captain.
Heads up: Resizing clears all match progress (none yet in setup phase, but worth noting). Double-elim brackets must stay at a power of 2 (4, 8, 16, 32, 64). 24-team brackets are single-elim only.
§ Edit Teams
Manual editing: You can change any team's name, roster, and captain info here. Changes apply immediately across the entire bracket. Approving a captain application overwrites the target slot automatically.
How it works: Enter scores, click "Winner" on the winning team, hit "Set Complete" to finalize. Winner auto-advances. Changes appear on the public bracket within 5 seconds.
§ Edit Teams
Careful while live: Editing a team's name or roster updates it across every match. Use this to fix typos or update rosters mid-tournament.

APPROVING ADDS TO BRACKET: Clicking "Approve" auto-places the captain into the next empty slot in the current bracket. If no bracket exists, create a blank one first (Bracket tab). Denying/reverting a previously approved captain will free their slot.

How this works: The Hub's "Meet The Team" section is rendered live from this data. Add, edit, or remove members in any of the six tiers below. Changes go live the moment you click Save All Changes. Each member needs a name; handle and avatar letter are optional.
Use cases: Testing the system without flooding Discord, recovering from a webhook misconfiguration, performing maintenance during a quiet period, or running a tournament internally before announcing it.
